Is learning from a computer screen good for you?

With the possibilities for online learning on the rise to become the standard in present-day  education, the sky seems to be the limit in terms of how digital publishers can satisfy students’ learning needs. But from the moment the personal computer became available for the masses, people have put question marks over digital learning efficiency. Because, really, how efficiently do people learn, absorb and memorize new information from a screen as opposed to a paper book?
